Will dying/heaven be gain for you?

How you answer this question says the world about your life because it reveals whether Christ is your treasure now. If Christ is not your treasure--and for most he’s not–then to die will not be gain as the apostle Paul says in Philippians 1.21. Dying is only gain if to die means you gain more of what (or whom) you treasured in this life. So read below and answer the question, but be honest since you’d only be lying to yourself and God, and you both know the truth:

“The critical question for our generation – and for every generation – is this: If you could have Heaven, with no sickness, and with all the friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with Heaven, if Christ was not there?”  (via John Piper God is the Gospel)

Well? Could you be satisfied?
